They'll be a pause in the galaxy flow for a few days so I can build the latest BOINC server, apply the latest security patches, etc.

You should announce it innocently and only to me so I can fill up my WU buffers and gain some credits and ranks in POGS challenges :P
And don't forget to maintain some POGS compatibility issues with forthcoming BOINC client versions, especially the problems with trusted certificates ;)

The number of "Tasks ready to send" is rising again. Does this mean the maintenance procedures are finished or suspended again?

With all the upgrading going on, when are we going to be able to join new or newly "re-windowed" machines again? I had to take this machine back to format and do a reinstall of everything, and when I attempt to rejoin this machine to my team, via BOINC manager, every time it gets a "Failed to add project, please try again later." Been a week or so now. Just wondering when...
Thanks.

P.S. I don't think that I'm alone with this issue. Others in forums reporting team-join failures. Unknown if they are already set up and running the project, and then trying to join the team, or like where I can't even join the project.

Hey,

The team-join failures seem to be unrelated but there does appear to be an issue with the way BOINC is handling SSL certs that we are investigating.

Cheers
Alex

Is this why my new cell phone is getting an account verification error when trying to connect it? It's definitely not a password problem, double, triple, and even quadruple checked the login info, and even did a password reset here to exactly what the password should be, and what I was putting in for the login. All results in the same error, on the new cell, all the login details verified to not contain typoes or anything of the sort.

BOINC 7.2.42 did not have the SSL issue and will allow you to join the project.
