I've made a fairly important announcement about the future of Sourcefinder, our other project.

There's a high chance that we'll be processing data from ASKAP in the future!

Anyone who's interested, please take a look at this post.

That is great news! Will SourceFinder be running under theSkyNet POGS?

It's currently running in it's own project over at http://sourcefinder.theskynet.org/. I separated them in to their own BOINC projects because Sourcefinder uses VirtualBox and POGS doesn't.

GUYS What if the code can be emulated on a CUDA compiler Would not that be great. Form what I understood is that java is the main horse.
It would be nice to boost the compute. (from all may projects seems that pogs sometimes runs the slowest) Woulds you agree that it is time to transcend the code on CUDA. Or OPENCL emulators. THANK YOU. GEEK`S PLEASE REPLY

Perhaps you should take this discussion to the SourceFinder forum/project instead of POGS. https://sourcefinder.theskynet.org/duchamp/

Thanks for your criticism, and for keeping it constructive.

I've read through the document, and one thing I do want to make clear is that we're run by ICRAR, not the SKA, so the information that comes from the SKA is not within our jurisdiction.
