The load test will soon enter a new phase. You may have noticed in the galaxy list a lot of the galaxies have 0% complete. This is because they are waiting in the wings.

Once the number of jobs available drops to 15,000 I'll start releasing whole galaxies so I can get around the way Homogenous Redundancy schedules things. Hopefully this will get jobs rescheduled much quicker.

Before you load new galaxies is there any way to force the server to issue the unsent tasks that have been in limbo for 2 weeks or so? Or will those unsent tasks get issued automatically when the current batch is completed?

The HR scheduler starts from the first available task and cycles through to the last and then repeats. So they will eventually get out there. As I have 8,000 task out on average - this should (fingers crossed) get them out quicker

Thank you for your reply. I had some pending from the end of August which had the unsent tasks (high task numbers) issued but a few others still remain unsent. Couldn't work out why some got issued and others didn't. Hope the changes you are making work as planned.
