Can you send me a screen shot of the following:

the directory projects\ec2-23-23-126-96.compute-1.amazonaws.com_pogs showing the size of the files

the slots directory

That might give me a hint

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/43361170/pogs.png

the only file not showing is zlibs.dat, and its 1kb

as for the slots,

And now, when I was collecting this info, I had just done a simple update... got one app to finish in 4:08 min and it didn't error. Another 2 are running, but after 10 min they are only 5% done. no errors yet on this batch, which is odd because I haven't done anything to the system or boinc.

Im getting errors on all my WUs as well, all with "missing output file"

<core_client_version>7.0.33</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
couldn't start Can't link app version file: -108
</message>
]]>

I am getting two different types of errors:
8/30/2012 9:55:10 AM | pogs | Output file NGC1085_area53628_1_0 for task NGC1085_area53628_1 absent
8/30/2012 9:55:10 AM | pogs | [sched_op] Reason: Unrecoverable error for task NGC2554_area62012_0 (couldn't start Can't link app version file: -108)

I am running windows 8 x64 with boinc 7.0.33, only AV I have is windows defender that comes with win8 (which is basically an upgraded version of MSE) and its not showing an activity. I do have boinc installed in a non standard location, but the other projects haven't had a problem running. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I have tried resetting, but that didn't help.
